Working at Heights (CPO Approved)
All employers with workers who conduct any “work at height” must ensure that their employees have completed the full Working at Height (WAH) training. All WAH training programs must be approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) of Ontario.
Our CPO approved course is delivered by our certified trainers to all those working at heights (WAH) across all industries including, but not limited to construction and manufacturing. The training certification is valid for 3-years and the option to take a WAH Refresher course is available if taken prior to the expiry date of the original training.
We also offer the CPO approved Refresher Course.
Confined Space Awareness
Confined Space entry is a high risk task and the Ministry acknowledges that hence why the subject has its own Regulation; It is imperative that your team is fully equipped from: understanding their roles/responsibilities, tools needed, rescue planning, pre-entry plans etc.
WHMIS 2015 (GHS)
In this course, we thoroughly review the new Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS 2015) standard and highlight the changes from the previous WHMIS 1988 parameters. Employer, employee, and supplier responsibilities will be identified.
NOTE: Employers have until December 1st, 2018 to comply to the new standard.
Supervisor Competency
In addition to the mandatory basic Supervisor Awareness training, this Supervisor Competency training will dig deeper into what the Occupational Health and Safety Act demands of Supervisors and we will, in an interactive manner, explain how those responsibilities directly relate to the health and safety of the workers under their supervision.
Lockout Tagout
This comprehensive training will equip your team on practical experience & theoretical knowledge on Lock Out Tag Out. Our team will gather information from you to ensure that the training provided is relevant & specific to your industry, processes, competency level; The OHSA sets out regulatory requirements for LOTO which we will guide you through.
Behaviour Based Safety
The training is aimed to equip your leaders & JHSC to confidently promote safe behaviours in the workplace as well as address & correct at-risk behaviours.
Cannabis in the Workplace
Legalization, Impairment & Workplace Safety: In this training we will dive into the recent legalization of Cannabis/Marijuana and what this means for the workplace. We will discuss the rights & responsibilities of all parties within the workplace to ensure health, safety & compliance.
Emergency Response
This training will cover many different potential variables in Emergency situations; Key components to emergency response procedures will be covered.

Leading Vulnerable Workers
Vulnerable workers are defined as workers who are likely to be exposed greater risk within the workplace; these workers are often: new to the job (1-6months), new to the province/country, young/students, etc. The goal of this course is to ensure your Management team understands their roles & responsibility in ensuring the safety of vulnerable workers.
Machine Guard Safety
It is the law to ensure that workers are not exposed to moving parts in a machine; The participants with will understand the law as it pertains to machine guarding, the importance of machine guards, hazard assessments etc.
Manual Material Handling
Manual Material Handling has proven to cause Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in a 1 out of 4 workers; hazard recognition, ergonomic tools, injury prevention methods and safe handling procedures will be covered.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms
MEWP Training teaches the safe operation of the different types of aerial platforms. Training includes, but is not limited to, MEWPs components, pre-operation inspection, safe operation requirements (setup, operation, machine manoeuvring, and hazard avoidance).
MEWP includes: Aerial Boom Lift, Skyjack/Scissor Lift, Bucket Truck Aerial Lift.
New Hire Orientation
This training is aimed at ensuring that your new hires understand your workplace H&S policies as well as relevant H&S laws and regulations; Our team will gather information from you to understand your workplace to ensure effective training is administered.
Personal Protective Equipment
The training will be sector specific; Based on your sector/specific line of work, this course will be tailored to help your team understand the necessary PPE
Office Ergonomics
This training will equip your team members to be able to address ergonomic concerns within the office environment. Participants will learn about risk factors to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and practical ways to assess & control those risks.
Racking & Storage Safety
An in-depth look at safe racking will occur during this session; participants will be able to recognize unsafe racking and take necessary control measures to alleviate risk; Obligations with respect to installations & removals will be covered
Spill Response
Participants will learn practical ways of handling spills and more importantly, how to have strong preventative practices; Participants will also learn the legal obligations for spill responses & reporting
Workplace Inspections
Conducting monthly workplace inspections are mandatory in Ontario; This comprehensive training will provide you with the necessary tools & strategy on how to conduct meaningful & & productive workplace inspections
Workplace Violence & Harassment
The OHSA outlines roles and responsibilities for all parties within a workplace; In this training we will dig deeper into the specifics of incident investigation, program development, policy implementation, risk assessments, to ensure a safe work environment for your organization as well as to ensure regulatory compliance.
